I definitely felt like I was making an impact that way! Thanks for this list - I agree, it would definitely be helpful if each of us just committed to buying some of our items that have been made in the US.Meg the Grandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505371880343451606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67730370104633704.post-73479516205669118392012-08-02T21:06:15.316-04:002012-08-02T21:06:15.316-04:00I am in the middle of reading Overdressed, and thi...I am in the middle of reading Overdressed, and this issue has been on my mind a lot lately. So far I've found that some of the clothes ModCloth sells are made in the USA. You can check it out here.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07873506709143296715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67730370104633704.post-44540905705641083722012-07-31T17:43:27.333-04:002012-07-31T17:43:27.333-04:00I'll add that, while I try to buy local-made g...I'll add that, while I try to buy local-made goods as much as possible, I'm not a stickler for USA made. I am a stickler for knowing as much as I can about whether the workers are treated well...but I think that's nigh near impossible to find the truth about! We're probably best off growing our own food, raising our own sheep, spinning our own wool.......

Well, at least I grow vegies! ;-DJillybejoyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11010866113928621691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67730370104633704.post-58447309901684121102012-07-31T17:40:33.798-04:002012-07-31T17:40:33.798-04:00New Balance Shoes is supposed to be a pretty aweso...New Balance Shoes is supposed to be a pretty awesome company to work for. Their shoes are not 100% USA made, but I believe they have one of the highest % of USA made for all athletic shoes.Jillybejoyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11010866113928621691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67730370104633704.post-80887399432734315052012-07-31T16:58:10.945-04:002012-07-31T16:58:10.945-04:00Great post! I seem to only buy from thrift stores but, choosing the more quality better made pieces then all those cheap Forever 21 castoffs that are trying to be resold at almost face vaule.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06786542229657012956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67730370104633704.post-11247438883426294062012-07-31T15:58:04.480-04:002012-07-31T15:58:04.480-04:00Thanks for this list.
