Hello and welcome to the second installment of "Sewing Blogs: Spread the Love"! Every week I am amazed by all the awesome creations of other bloggers and there is so much inspiration out there. So, without further adieu here is a sampling of some great things found in the blogosphere this week.
- Justine from Sew Country Chick made a really cute skirt along with a tutorial for Hong Kong seams.
- Molly made a super cute dress inspired by a dress she loved from a magazine.
- Couture Allure Vintage Fashion blog has some great inspirational 70's fashion pictures.
- MaggieDoll had a wonderful idea of using butter knives as pattern weights.
- Shelley from New Vintage Lady posted some wonderful images from a 1940's Hollywood pattern catalog.
On another domestic art related note, if you happen to love to cook, I suggest you check out my favorite food blog,
Annie's Eats. I seriously could spend hours over there just ogling the pictures.
What are you guys working on this week?
Happy Sewing!
Thanks for a shout out!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca...thanks for your lovely comments! I got your question about shipping patterns internationally and if you do it through the regular mail (as printed papers) then it's pretty cheap...$2.50-4 depending on where it's going :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Debi!
